1. Who we are

Aikido Kankouji-ryu and this website are run by Iris One United Ltd (“we”, “us”), a private limited company registered in England and Wales (company number 16157871). Our registered office is 6 Sutton Plaza, Sutton, SM1 4FS. We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy. 2. Visiting this website

This site has no user accounts, contact forms, analytics or advertising, and it sets no cookies of its own. Its fonts and images are served from this site, not from third parties.

The site is hosted on GitHub Pages, a service of GitHub, Inc. Like any web host, GitHub records technical information about each visit, including your IP address, to deliver the site and keep it secure. See the GitHub Privacy Statement.

3. Maps and videos

The Contact section can show a Google Maps map, and the Videos section a YouTube video. Both are click-to-load: nothing is requested from Google or YouTube, and neither can set cookies, until you choose to show the map or play the video.

When you do, your IP address, browser details and the address of this website are sent to Google LLC (which owns YouTube), and Google may store cookies or similar identifiers in your browser. Videos are loaded in YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). Google decides how it uses this data as an independent controller, not on our behalf; see the Google Privacy Policy. We receive nothing back from Google about you.

So that you don’t have to choose again on every visit, we record your choice in your browser’s local storage under the keys kankouji:consent:maps and kankouji:consent:youtube, together with the date you made it. The record expires after 180 days, after which you will be asked again. It holds nothing but the fact and date of your choice, never leaves your device, and is not used to recognise or track you. Because it is a record of a setting you chose, we don’t ask for separate consent to store it.

4. Contacting us

This website shows our email address and phone number, but it doesn’t collect or store anything you send us. This policy covers this website only. If you’d like to know how we handle information you give us by email or phone, just ask using the details above.

5. Links to other websites

This site links to our YouTube, Instagram and Facebook pages and to Google Maps. Once you follow a link, that service’s own privacy policy applies.

6. Where your data is processed

GitHub and Google are based in the United States. Transfers of personal data to them rely on the UK–US data bridge and the safeguards described in their own privacy policies.

7. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

• ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
• ask us to correct or delete it;
• ask us to restrict or stop using it, or object to how we use it;
• ask for it in a portable format;
• withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on it.

To use any of these rights, email irisoneunited@gmail.com. We will reply within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113, though we would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
